Hi everyone,
Wow! It's very hard to look at this video, but i forced myself to do so, beacause i think it's necessary to face what's happening there. We have to share at least some of the Tibetan People's suffering by facing those images.I feel sad, powerless, amazed by so much unnecessary violence,by such zelous action put into inhumane treatments, especially against non-violent people. This situation prooves what hatred, anger, arrogance, terror, ignorance, are leading to.
We can only work, each one of us, within ourself, then with the people we're in relation with, to transform the very roots that make such emotions possible. What i experience, is that hatred becomes possible when ignorance is already present : the ignorance that makes us see another personn as just an object; the ignorance that makes us feel completly indifferent to whatever suffering that personn might go through;the ignorance that makes us blind to the fact that we are all interrelated with each others.
In other words, that mass violence comes from a major, major disconnection with one's heart.
How did the Chineese people come to such an extreme, radical disconnection with their hearts?
What happened in the developpment of their civilisation (once turned towards wisdom, like in the confucean times, like with the invention of the Tao Te King...) that broke that precious link between heart wisdom & intellectual approch of the world???? real question...
I also think that with today's regime, the chineese people are completly misinformed, endoctrined by their governement & their opinion manipulated to developp prejudice, suspicion & scornfulness towards their Tibetan brothers & sisters. This is also very pityful. The Chineese are in a way taken in hostage, unable to acces real debate, unable to access to the truth.

OM MANI PEDME HUNG!

Love to all

Really I do not understand why people can be so brutal. A friend of us here embed the same video here to this network but it is removed. I haven't asked why it is removed from YouTube ... that's also another point that we can not forget what's happen in Tibet. A YouTube friend who lives in Kathmandu and sometimes in the North of India send me this video and asked me to forward it. He is shocked about all these stories which he heard from Tibet. So thanks a lot for all comments here ...

this is worse than horrible/barbaric ; what if it spreads to toher places like south africa , already worse tension in the air ? what about abolishing 'police' , & asking for a different new system in their place , seeing as police everywhere are getting too violent & prone , & fire - people , always fires everywhere lately , as if expexted .
look how badly the chinese treat animals - this is the most terrible of all .
& so much in-dharma squabbles , it is no wonder thses things are going wrong .
buddhism will also have to change .
& i see no point in relying on france or america for help at such times , let alone prevention of this brutality ....so we need another helping hand entirely.
thanks for the info - always keep in touch .
best dharma wishes
peace

We must continue to spread the truth about what is going on with our brothers and sisters from Tibet. These horors must be brought into the light to create a wider consiousness for the need to join our efforts in erradicating violence from the face of our planet, and to work for peace in behalf of the future of humanity, .

When will the Chinese government get it? You cannot just sweep away the truth with denial. The world knows what they are doing. It is up to the supporters of the Tibetan people (people like us) to keep up the pressure on our own governments to pass that pressure on to the Chinese. I pray daily for the Tibetan people, and also that the Chinese government see the error of its actions.

I am the Candle Flame

I am the candle flame for Tibet on high
My country stolen mountains in the sky
Valleys weep your clouds float on by
Freedom taken from me that’s why I cry
Oh mountain trails how I miss your track
My flame burns bright I want you back
Within my soul I yearn my eyes wet
Tibet you were my life ill not forget
Why did you come take my home away?
Even then you didn’t ask I had no say
You stole my heart my spirit all I had
Now here I burn my flame bright but sad
What did I do I ask the question why
For I grow weary to see my land for I die
Here I stand you smile look down on me
Ill fight for you till my death to set you free
So many years i've suffered silent in pain
How I yearn to touch your gentle soil again
To climb to yonder mountain peek above
Once more my spirit to feel of your love

Vigil

Where are you now,
with your palms together,
bowing,
your dark red robes
wrapping the wisdom
of a thousand years,
white knife peaks,
and over six thousand
monasteries?

Your home not your home
and yet your home always,
you wander,
you meditate,
you chant and pray;
you teach, you love,
or you stay
and must keep quiet.

Yet prayer flags still blow
in high Tibetan air,
prayer flags still blow
in the deep dark-eyed hearts
of your people.
There are places
the intruders,
the violators
cannot reach–
places alive with
the smiles and tears
of your lost land.

Red robed ones
with your calm eyes
upon the world,
you who pay homage
to the consciousness
in all things,
you who see far beyond
appearances:
you know past time,
you love past duality,
and yet you cry too.

The mountains of Tibet,
the vast plateaus and
green valleys,
the sky lakes and blue rivers,
the sons and daughters
of this sacred land
know and wait for you,
and for their time
within space and beyond
to be free.
