Dear Jonathan.
As a buddhist my husban John and I will send you white healing
light and our prayers, and if its okay with you, I would like to put your name and the suffering your going through, on a list of people for whom many buddhists pray for.
We will hold you in our hearts and prayers for you to grow stronger and help your suffering.
Please stay safe and get well soon.

OM MANI PADMA HUM !

Hello Everyone,
As you know Jonathan is a wonderful young, 18 year old boy who has been through so very much in his very short life! He has autism, Down syndrome, Microcephaly, digestive problems, a neurogenic bladder, and kidney swelling. He has also had 9 operations already. In spite of it all Jonathan is happy and never complains about anything! His multiple hospital visits monthly never get him down. He loves to sing, dance and creates the most incredible drawings! BUT most of all he loves to give hugs and make sure you are OK and happy! He is the light of our lives and the most spiritual soul we know! I have always felt all Jonathan’s issues are somehow connected but could never get the right doctor consults that could help put it all together.

I got a call from Jonathan doctor at St Justine's hospital yesterday evening, Friday 7pm September 12th. The doctor was away on vacation for 10 days and important test results came in while she was away. Our doctor wanted to contact me right away so that Jonathan could be supported as soon as possible. The esophagus electrode test came back. It shows that the muscles that help Jonathan get the food down and help with proper digestion are working way too slowly. They believe he may have Scleroderma and further tests need to be done quickly to determine how Jonathan can be helped. This may be the problem with the kidneys and a whole host of other problems he has had. Mainly this affects the ability to absorb nutrients and causes scaring to connective tissues. Whatever the cause of all this he needs to be able to heal and regenerate. We are praying that the special diet we started 3 years ago supported him to have minimal effects to whatever challenges he faces now. We believe now that operating on his bladder could have made things worse and are grateful to have the bladder scanner to help Jonathan empty instead.

They say GOD never gives us more than we can handle so I hold this thought dear to my heart as I write to you all! They say too that all we live is for very important reasons and become very clear in the end! So we pray this becomes clear and OK very quickly!

We need prayers so that Jonathan can completely heal and live a long healthy life NO matter what! Please send this letter to everyone who you believe can pray for Jonathan and send energy that heals all his medical issues. Prayers and healing energy can generate the healing Jonathan needs.

Thanks so much for your support!

Pamela, Jonathan and family!

I am the Candle Flame

I am the candle flame for Tibet on high
My country stolen mountains in the sky
Valleys weep your clouds float on by
Freedom taken from me that’s why I cry
Oh mountain trails how I miss your track
My flame burns bright I want you back
Within my soul I yearn my eyes wet
Tibet you were my life ill not forget
Why did you come take my home away?
Even then you didn’t ask I had no say
You stole my heart my spirit all I had
Now here I burn my flame bright but sad
What did I do I ask the question why
For I grow weary to see my land for I die
Here I stand you smile look down on me
Ill fight for you till my death to set you free
So many years i've suffered silent in pain
How I yearn to touch your gentle soil again
To climb to yonder mountain peek above
Once more my spirit to feel of your love

Vigil

Where are you now,
with your palms together,
bowing,
your dark red robes
wrapping the wisdom
of a thousand years,
white knife peaks,
and over six thousand
monasteries?

Your home not your home
and yet your home always,
you wander,
you meditate,
you chant and pray;
you teach, you love,
or you stay
and must keep quiet.

Yet prayer flags still blow
in high Tibetan air,
prayer flags still blow
in the deep dark-eyed hearts
of your people.
There are places
the intruders,
the violators
cannot reach–
places alive with
the smiles and tears
of your lost land.

Red robed ones
with your calm eyes
upon the world,
you who pay homage
to the consciousness
in all things,
you who see far beyond
appearances:
you know past time,
you love past duality,
and yet you cry too.

The mountains of Tibet,
the vast plateaus and
green valleys,
the sky lakes and blue rivers,
the sons and daughters
of this sacred land
know and wait for you,
and for their time
within space and beyond
to be free.
