On this network you will find all about Tibet and HH the 14th Dalai Lama, community blog posts, videos, photos, and most important of all, friends who also want a FREE TIBET and a free world.
Our candles symbolize our non-violent pledges to work together until there is freedom for the people of Tibet.
Our universal agreement is now that Candle4Tibet will keep the flame alive until the main goal — a FREE TIBET and a free world — has been achieved.
To sustain this community of friends and keep it lively, strong, and close, the network holds a monthly « Candle For Tibet » ritual during which participants are asked to light a candle for Tibet and pray for the liberation of its people. To foster participation, the event will effectively take place over a 72-hour period starting from 6PM on the 7th day of each month until 6PM on the 10th.

We are pleased to announce the Monthly Candle Ritual for June !
You are invited to light a candle at any time between Thursday June 7 at 6PM and Sunday June 10 at 6PM to manifest your support for Tibet, and remain mindful of the urgent need to free Tibetans from their predicament.
Signs of positive change are like stars at night. At first, there doesn't seem to be that many, but the more we keep looking for them, and the more we can find. Perhaps each of the stars isn't that spectacular in itself, but together they paint an evolving picture where light is increasingly visible, repelling the darkness. And similarly, perhaps each of the signs isn't that eloquent in itself, but together they speak of an unstoppable progression towards a better future for friends of peace and freedom everywhere.
May our collective efforts bring freedom to the people of Tibet ! Svaha !

Om Sarva Mangala Mangalya
Shive Sarvãrtha Sãdhike
Sharanya Tryambake Gauri
Narayani Namostute
This mantra is chanted at the end of the Gajananam and Guru Stotram (Yoga Vidya Songbook No. 603 and 690). Narayani brings happiness and meets all requirements of the viewfinder (both material as well as spiritual).
